Wayne has been a part of Lone Star Mercedes-Benz for over 20 years, with a total of 40 years of experience in the automotive industry. When he’s not at work, Wayne can usually be found out on the golf course, or out driving his favorite car, the GLC 63. Wayne has taken part of several training courses throughout his career, but he says he’s a graduate of the school of hard knocks. Wayne loves coming to work every day with the awesome team we’ve assembled, and the best product in the world. “The Best or Nothing” is the slogan that, after 20 years, we still strive for.
With 23 years of experience in the industry, Simon joined the team at Lone Star 7 years ago. Simon loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, biking, and hiking in the mountains, so living in Alberta was an obvious choice for this Aussie. He loves the fact that working at Lone Star feels like being a member of a big family, and his favorite vehicle is the 1886 Patent Motor Wagen, the first car on the planet, and the first Mercedes-Benz!

Dominic is a Lone Star veteran, with over 20 years with the team. This impeccably dressed man obviously loves the fashion industry, but it may surprise you to know that he is also a certified badminton coach! It’s no surprise, however, that Dominic’s favorite car is the stylish and classy S Class. Dominic says that he loves making Lone Star shine!
An automotive veteran, John has worked in the industry since he was 15 years old. With over 23 years with Lone Star, he has held almost every position, from scrubbing the shop floors and detailing cars, to working in the parts and service departments, before joining the sales department in various functions. Outside of work, John is active in musical interests, playing the guitar, and once we have a road course in Calgary again, you can find him playing on the track! John was the Salesman of the Year (Western Canada) in 1998. He just couldn’t decide on a favorite car, saying that cars are like people, they have different personalities, and there are a few he loves, possibly due to his multiple personalities! John clearly loves working at Lone Star, he says it’s because of the clients who have become friends, the co-workers he appreciates and respects, and a brand that he can truly stand behind.
Mitch has been with Lone Star for over 5 years, starting as a delivery specialist in 2013, moving to sales in 2015. He has been in the automotive industry for essentially his whole working career; a total of 7 years, and he also has a diploma in Business Administration – Automotive Management from SAIT. Mitch When he’s not at Lone Star, Mitch enjoys spending time renovating his house, going on road trips and working on his own vehicles. He loves getting to know his clients on a personal level and hearing about their achievements and successes that led them to rewarding themselves with a new Mercedes-Benz. He also loves seeing returning customers who bring their friends and family to the dealership. And finally, getting be part of the most exciting automaker in the world. His favorite Mercedes-Benz would be any year of the SL Roadster.
With 24 years of experience, Cathi joined the Lone Star team in 2017. In her free time, Cathi enjoys spending time on the water, and loves wake surfing. Her favorite car is the C43 AMG sedan, and when asked about her favorite thing about Lone Star, she replied 100% the people! Awesome team of professionals!
Connor has been with Lone Star for 5 years, and in the industry for 6. He’s a graduate of the Business Administration, Automotive Management program at SAIT. When he’s not at work, Connor enjoys travel and golf, and driving his dream car – a C63 Coupe. Connor’s favorite thing about Lone Star is getting to work with an exceptional team and being able to represent Mercedes-Benz
Tracy joined the Lone Star team over 10 years ago, and says that her favorite thing about working here is her co-workers. Tracy loves to travel, and she tries to get away and explore new places as much as possible. While it’s hard to narrow down, Tracy says her favorite car is the S63 Coupe.

Ali joined Lone Star 6 years ago and has been working in the automotive industry for 14 years. Ali studied Business Administration, and has received ongoing training throughout his 14 year career. When he’s not at work, Ali is usually running around after his 5 year old son, taking him to swimming and piano lessons, and playing Nintendo. If he ever gets some time for himself, he also enjoys watching NBA games and Formula1 racing. His favorite car is a tie between the SL63 AMG and the GLE Coupe – one is slightly more practical for the family life though! Ali loves the great team he gets to work with and feels that Mercedes-Benz is one of the best premium luxury products he could present to people.
Francis has worked in the automotive industry for 9 years, and as a German car enthusiast, joining the team at Lone Star was a natural fit. Outside of work, Francis enjoys watching basketball and European Futball, with his favorite teams being the Raptors, and Chelsea. He also loves playing pick-up games in his neighbourhood or at the gym. Francis graduated from Petroleum Land Administration in 2013, and Business Administration, Automotive Management in 2017. he says that his favorite thing about working here is the people. He gets to work with beautiful vehicles, but that’s second compared to the team he has supporting him each and every day.

JM just celebrated 8 years at Lone Star, and has worked in the automotive industry since 2006. JM is a man of many talents, with a CFP diploma from Boston University, and a bartender certificate from Boston Bartending. JM has been playing indoor tennis twice a week for the last 10 years, and in the summer, he enjoys biking and hiking with his 3 kids and his wife. JM’s favorite car is either the E63s 4matic Wagon, with 603 HP and 627 lb-ft of torque from 0 – 100 k/hr in 3.5 seconds, he can get the kids to hockey lightning fast, or the classic 1992 400SE that was lightyears ahead of its time. JM loves making clients’ dreams come true. Seeing the smiles and joy on our clients face on the day they pick up their new Mercedes-Benz is priceless.
While Jordan is a relative new comer to Lone Star, joining the team in January 2018, he brings with him 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, as well as a diploma in Automotive Management from SAIT. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys fishing, golf and like a true Canadian, playing hockey. His favorite car is the classic 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, but the E 63S is a close second! His favorite thing about working at Lone Star are the people, both the clientele and his awesome coworkers.

Kevin starting at Lone Star in 2011, bringing with him 18 years of automotive experience. When he’s not at work, Kevin loves being out on the water, boating and fishing. When asked what his favorite vehicle is, he just couldn’t narrow it down, and said Mercedes-Benz!
Out of Luc’s 20 years of automotive experience, 16 of them have been with Lone Star! Luc has previously studied at DeVry, and when he’s not at work, Luc likes to keep active, including power walking. Luc loves working at Lone Star mainly because of the great people he gets to work with and the beautiful cars he gets to be around. His personal favorite is the C43 Cabriolet.
Nicholl joined the Lone Star Service Department in 2018, moved to Sales Administration and is now a Sales Consultant. Nicholl has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, minoring in Business Administration. She loves teaching others, and works as a tutor outside of Lone Star. Her favorite car is the S550, and her favorite thing about working at Lone Star is learning the plethora of features and luxurious options that makes Mercedes-Benz so prestigious.
Henry started with Lone Star in 2018, with 6 years of experience. Outside of work, he enjoy playing sports and being active. Henry’s favourite activities are tennis, skiing, and yoga. Growing up in B.C., he competed in the Northern B.C. Winter Games and won a gold medal in Karate. His favourite cars are the Mercedes E63s sedan, S63 coupe, and the AMG GT R. Henry enjoys working at Lone Star because of all the helpful and friendly people, not to mention getting to drive and be around some of the best automobiles ever made.
Valentin joined the Lone Star team 7 years ago, and has 14 years of experience in the automotive industry. Valentin says his favorite thing about working at Lone Star would be his great coworkers. His favorite car is a 911 Turbo, but we think an AMG GT R could probably sway his decision.
Dardana has worn many hats in her 6 years with Lone Star, and has a total of 8 years of industry experience. When she’s not at work, Dardana enjoys being outdoors in the summer, hiking in the mountains and trail running. In the winter, she tries to escape to the beach as much as possible! She likes working at Lone Star because it is a place that makes you want to grow with the company. It’s a place that opportunities do strike your way to build a lifelong career. Dardana loves that she has been able to spread her wings here at Lone Star, just like her favorite car, the SLS AMG! Get it?
Matthew joined Lone Star in 2017, his first position in the automotive industry, and he’s an awesome fit! He enjoys a lot of things about working at Lone Star, from the day to day experiences to his colleagues in all departments, but if he had to pick one, it would be his passion for Mercedes-Benz. His personal favorite is the AMG GT C Roadster. When he’s not at work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his friends and family and reading a good book.
As a car enthusiast, Keynes was very excited to join the Lone Star team in 2017. Outside of work, Keynes is a member of a car club, and enjoys gaming in his spare time. Keynes is a Certified Adobe Associate, and has a diploma in New Media Production and Design. His favorite car is a toss up between a Honda S2000 or a W204 C63 507 Edition, and he loves getting to work with the Mercedes-AMG vehicles, and the awesome people.
Keith began as a contractor at Lone Star 8 years ago, and loved it so much, he became an employee in 2015. Depending on the time of year, Keith enjoys hockey goaltending, short story writing, movie/TV series watching, having anything he’s currently doing be consistently interrupted or sidetracked by any one of, or by all four of, his kids, cooking and bar-b-queuing anything he can get his hands on during the summer, and reading any good dystopian novel while swaying gently in his back yard hammock. His dream car is the 1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 although he has a special place in his heart for the 1987-1991 convertibles. His favorite thing about Lone Star is hands down the people he engages with daily.
